Tea in Space

This video from 2003 is of a Russian astronaut rockin' some black tea in space. I'm glad to see that despite the trials and tribulations associated with space travel, tea is still being consumed. One thing I have always wondered however, and this applies to things other than tea, is how does one get food to actually travel down the esophagus? Wouldn't an intergalactic tea aficionado need to push off a wall or something to get the tea into his stomach? What prevents the stomach acid from going up into the esophagus? They must get some pretty bad heartburn.
